Trinity College is celebrating its 20th Birthday, so they're giving free movie tickets for Despicable Me in 3D to current students. So, after watching my friend and I decided to have dinner at Rose Garden located on Elizabeth St. Shockingly, there were quite a lot of people queuing for dine-in. We're damn hungry and did not bother to join the queue =P, so we decided to have dinner at The Pacific BBQ Cafe at Lonsdale St.

The Pacific BBQ Cafe is a chinese restaurant serving a wide varieties of chinese cuisine... For today, both of us had roasted pork on rice. So here you go!!! =D

Okay, I know the presentation of the food is a bit messy. It's my fault >.< Since I was so hungry, I forgot to take some shots of the food before tucking in =P sorry for that. Well, the actual presentation is quite good =D

They gave generous portion, and the price is very reasonable as well. Roasted pork on rice is priced at AUD 9.50 .

Lets start with the steamed rice. The rice is a bit dry, but that's not a big deal though =D. Now lets look at the roasted pork.

They've roasted the pork very well. The pork skin was very crispy, and the meat was juicy. The roasted pork was seasoned nicely, so that it's not too salty. The thin layer of fat give that extra 'kick', and I really love it!!! =D

If you're thinking of visiting this restaurant, don't expect good service. Usually, the restaurant is very busy, especially during lunch and dinner time. You may find it a bit difficult to get the staff to approach you. Also, don't get shock when they give the bill straight after you finished your food....

Hence, in a nutshell:

Food: 9/10

Price: 8.5/10

Service: 7.5/10

Overall: 8.5/10
